The Bradenton Riverwalk is a lovely amennity and our thanks to those who planned and buiilt it. This is a low cost way to make it even nicer.

A small park at the the western end of the Riverwalk could be developed. The Manatee River is occasionally dredged. A nice small park could be developed by placing some of that fill into the triangle formed by the Riverwalk and the western wall of the marina.

The little triangular park would let people walk two blocks into the river, proving a very nice view of the Manatee River. It could have some wetlands to improve habitat and water quality, while also providing a pleasant way to see the River from downtown.
